Nowadays, however, medicine has a number of solutions at its disposal to at least soften the appearance of scars and smooth the skin. Let’s start with a method that has been tried and tested over many years and is scientifically sound. The microneedling. However, if you don’t decide right away, we charge a consultation fee of €140. But the good news is that we will credit €50 back to you for every future treatment.

What do you need to consider when treating acne scars?

Before treatment:

  • A combination with other treatments leads to better results. We will discuss any options in detail on site.

  • Blood-thinning medication should be discontinued. Please note: Always consult your family doctor or us beforehand.

  • We do not carry out treatment during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

After treatment:

  • No sport on the same day.

  • Depending on the treatment, sufficient sun protection should be ensured over the next few weeks. That means no planned beach vacation.

Complete removal of acne scars is difficult, depending on the type and depth of the scars and the individual skin condition. However, modern medical procedures can improve the appearance of scars, but complete removal of the scars is usually impossible, depending on the factors mentioned above.

The most effective methods for treating acne scars include microneedling, radiofrequency microneedling, TCA peeling and laser. Microneedling stimulates collagen production and improves the skin’s texture, reducing fine lines on the forehead, for example. Radio frequency microneedling provides additional firming and TCA peeling removes dead skin cells and promotes skin renewal. A CO2 laser can also remove the top layer of skin and reduce the appearance. Hyaluronic acid injections, on the other hand, smooth out sunken imperfections.
