And here’s our tip: The underarms and bikini line often show results faster than other areas! It usually takes 4–8 sessions spaced one month apart, depending on where you’re having the treatment done. And the best part after each treatment? Before long, you’ll need to reach for your razor less often because your hair will become finer and grow back less frequently.
At GoAesthetic, you pay fixed prices per session for your laser hair removal, starting at €45 for small areas like the upper lip or chin. The total cost of your treatment therefore depends mainly on which areas you choose to have treated. We have a simple rule: The more areas you combine, the cheaper each one becomes —because we offer special package prices for all common combinations, such as underarms with the bikini line and intimate areas, or lower legs with the bikini line, which you can find directly in the table. And if you plan to have multiple sessions from the start, you’ll save an additional 5% or 10% when you prepay for four or six treatments, respectively.
Because hair grows back in cycles, you’ll typically need six to eight sessions spaced four to six weeks apart to achieve lasting results. We’ll reduce your hair by 70 to 95 percent, depending on the body area—and in the long run, this is significantly more cost-effective than years of shaving, waxing, or epilating, without any ingrown hairs or skin irritation. Choosing the right device depends on individual needs; however, the laser hair removal device must have a specific wavelength and energy level to effectively destroy the hair follicle. With most professional devices, the energy level can be adjusted. In contrast, the wavelength is predetermined by the type of laser.

Based on current knowledge, only two laser technologies are suitable for effective, permanent hair removal: the alexandrite laser and the diode laser. No, permanent 100% hair removal is not yet possible based on current medical knowledge. Providers who promise anything else today are misleading you. That’s because we can only reduce your hair count by 70–95 %. But here’s the good news: The remaining hairs will be much finer and therefore less noticeable. Countless women are already happy with the results of laser hair removal. So see for yourself!
Moles should not be exposed to laser beams, as this can cause their color to change, which in turn could be a cause for concern for your dermatologist. But the good news is: At our clinic, we thoroughly cover all moles or birthmarks with a pen before treatment. Therefore, when performed correctly, laser hair removal is medically safe—a fact confirmed by countless studies.
It depends on the treatment area. We can safely perform laser treatments on areas of the body protected from the sun—such as the underarms or the bikini line— all year round. However, you should only have large areas of skin exposed to the sun—such as your legs or arms—treated with laser when the sun isn’t as strong outside. This is because direct UV radiation increases the risk of hyperpigmentation (skin discoloration). And what about tanned skin? That depends on when you last spent a lot of time in the sun. If it’s been more than a week, we’ll simply adjust the settings of our LightSheer® diode laser to match your tan. This sets it apart from the traditional alexandrite laser, which quickly reaches its limits when treating tanned skin. However, if you’ve just returned from a beach vacation, we’d prefer to wait a few more days. We’d be happy to advise you on the best time to schedule your treatment.
The difference is greater than the advertising suggests. That’s because most at-home devices aren’t lasers at all, but IPL flash lamps with significantly reduced energy. For safety reasons, the power must be so low that you’ll usually need 8 to 20 treatments, and the hair will still grow back faster. You won’t achieve permanent hair reduction with these devices the way you would with a medical diode laser. On top of that, there’s the risk: Without a skin type analysis, improper use can lead to burns or pigmentation spots, especially on darker or tanned skin. So do the math honestly. A brand-name device costs €300 to €600, but delivers weaker results that you’ll have to repeat endlessly. No! Take the underarms and bikini line, for example. In these areas, laser hair removal reduces hair growth by 90 to 95 percent. On the other hand, the situation is different on the back, where we achieve a hair reduction of “only” 70 to 80 percent. The reason for this: Hair and hair growth vary depending on the body area. Dark, thick hair on light skin absorbs laser energy most effectively. That’s why you’ll often see noticeable results after just a few sessions with laser hair removal on the underarms and bikini line, and you’ll need fewer total treatments than usual. For laser hair removal on the legs or back, however, one or two additional sessions may be needed.
