Ultherapy® is an FDA-approved, non-invasive skin tightening treatment that uses high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU). The treatment stimulates natural collagen production in deep layers of the skin, which tightens the face and neck without surgery. Subsequently, results develop over 2-5 months and typically last 1-2 years.
Ultherapy® is the only non-surgical treatment that reaches the same deep layers of skin as a surgical facelift. Using the patented DeepSEE® ultrasound treatment (real-time visualization), we can precisely direct the energy to the right layer of tissue for optimal results.

Ultherapy® uses high-intensity focused ultrasound to generate targeted temperatures of 60-70°C in deep layers of the skin without damaging the skin’s surface. This precise heating of the tissue stimulates the formation of new collagen for natural skin tightening.

Only the original Ultherapy® system has real-time ultrasound imaging. This is because the treatment depth can be seen live and precisely adjusted during treatment. This gives the device a decisive advantage in terms of safety and effectiveness compared to other HIFU devices without imaging.
Ultherapy® is the only FDA-approved HIFU system that reaches the SMAS connective tissue layer. This means that the same depth can be treated as with surgical facelifts, but without any scars, incisions or downtime. While other procedures only work superficially, Ultherapy® penetrates up to 4.5 mm deep into the skin, enabling real lifting effects instead of just temporary improvements on the surface of the skin.
Real-time ultrasound imaging enables precise control of the treatment depth in real time and thus differs fundamentally from cheaper HIFU imitations without imaging.
And an important detail in passing: Of all HIFU technologies, Ultherapy® is the best-researched system in the world, as no other comparable device has been so comprehensively documented in international studies.
You will see the full effect after just one treatment with Ultherapy®, but you will need a little patience. This is because the results only appear after 2-4 months.
These before and after pictures were also taken around 4 months after the single Ultherapy® treatment. For example, just a few millimeters of skin tightening in the eye area can already make you look more alert. See for yourself.

HIFU stands for “high-intensity focused ultrasound” and describes the method. Ultherapy®, on the other hand, refers to the device that we use at our institute. And did you know: The Ultherapy® system is currently considered the gold standard for HIFU treatments – partly because it allows work to be carried out at a glance thanks to real-time visualization. It is therefore not without reason that it is the device for which there are the most medical studies on effectiveness. In contrast, there is absolutely no data or approval for many other, inexpensive HIFU devices. With Ultherapy® you can rely on medically proven effectiveness and safety.
The cost of an Ultherapy® treatment starts at €440. They depend on the size of the facial area to be treated. Cost transparency is important to us, which is why you can find all the exact costs here on our homepage.
Ultherapy® primarily tightens the connective tissue. As a result, sagging skin becomes firmer again and the face can look a little slimmer. However, reducing fat is not the actual aim of Ultherapy® treatment. If you want this effect, we can combine Ultherapy® with other treatments: For example, with radiofrequency microneedling to specifically reduce fat deposits.
It is generally advisable to repeat the treatment regularly – approximately every 12-18 months – to maintain the effect. And depending on the initial findings, a combination with other collagen-stimulating treatments such as microneedling can help you achieve even better results.
