What is HIFU? HIFU stands for High Intensity Focused Ultrasound. This is a non-invasive treatment method that uses ultrasound waves to heat tissue in a targeted manner.

HIFU is used in two main areas:

Treatment
Before starting, we cleanse your skin and mark the areas of the face to be treated. We then treat the face zone by zone with the ultrasound device.
Result
In some cases, an immediately visible effect can result from the immediate tissue contraction after the treatment. However, the actual tightening effect develops gradually over several weeks to months, as the formation and reorganization of collagen fibres takes time.

  Ich hatte vor 1 Monat dort meinen ersten Termin für Laserhaarentfernung und bin echt begeistert. Einerseits das sehr freundliche Personal und andererseits ihr med. Diodenlaser, der bei mir nach ca. 23 Sitzungen in anderen Studios mit versch. anderen Diodenlasertypen bzw. Alexandritlaser, endlich deutlichen Fortschritt erzielt hat. Hatte zwar danach noch ca. 2-3 Wochen an betreffender Stelle mehr Pickel als sonst, aber sind mittlerweile fast weg und habe das für so ein Ergebnis gerne in Kauf genommen. :)

  Entspannung setzt ein, sobald man das Institut betritt. Sehr stilvolle EInrichtung, man wird sofort begrüßt, es wird zu trinken angeboten. Die Behandllungsräume sind ansprechend. Mir persönlich gefällt der cleane look, 1000%ige Suaberkeit, wie in einer (Arzt-)praxis eben sein muss.

  Ich hatte heute meinen ersten Lasertermin und kann GoAesthetic uneingeschränkt und wärmstens empfehlen. Bereits beim Eintreffen herrscht ein sehr angenehmes Ambiente, ich habe mich sofort wohlgefühlt. Der Empfangsbereich ist sehr schön gestaltet, man kann sich selbst mit diversen Erfrischungsgetränken versorgen, während man angenehmer Musik lauscht. Nathalie war sehr nett und einfühlsam. Sie hat mich kompetent beraten und aufgeklärt und sich sehr, sehr viel Zeit für alle meine Fragen genommen. Das Laserns ist natürlich, vor allem an empfindlichen Stellen, nicht ganz schmerzfrei, es dauert aber auch nur sehr kurz, man kann es insgesamt gut aushalten. Für mich war der Besuch ein voller Erfolg und ich freue mich, dass ich die Praxis meines Vertrauens fürs Lasern gefunden habe.

  Tolles Team, tolle Armosphäre, man fühlt sich auf Anhieb sehr wohl. Ich war erst ein Mal bei der Laserhaarentfernung aber hatte ein gutes Gefühl und war schon gespannt auf erste Ergebnisse. Nachdem ich jahrelang von Waxing bis Epillieren alles durchprobiert habe und fast täglich (!!) zum Epillierer gegriffen habe, war ich schon fast am Verzweifeln als ich im Internet auf GoAesthetic gestoßen bin. Die Behandlung ist etwas unangenehm, als schmerzhaft würde ich sie aber nicht bezeichnen. Ungefähr 10 Tage nach der ersten Behandlung war ich den Freudentränen nahe als ich merkte „wow, der dritte Tag, viel weniger Haare, der Rasierer kann noch einen Tag ruhen“. Nach so vielen Jahren das erste Mal richtige Ergebnisse zu sehen hat mich sprachlos und überglücklich gemacht. Kann ich nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen, hier gibt es definitiv gute Ergebnisse. Freue mich schon sehr auf meinen nächsten Besuch. :-) Vielen Dank an das Team von GoAesthetic!!

  Super freundliches Unternehmerpaar. Man fühlt sich direkt ab dem Betreten des Studios wohl - das zieht sich durch bis zum Beratungsgespräch und zur Behandlung. Die Behandlung selbst ist auch "angenehm" (in meinem Fall Laser-Haarentfernung an einem eher empfindlichen Bereich) - ja, es ziept ein bisschen, für mich war es nicht schmerzhaft, wobei das natürlich immer vom eigenen Schmerzempfinden abhängig ist. Es wird immer wieder erklärt was gemacht wird bzw. sich auch nach eventuellen Schmerzen erkundigt. In meinem Fall war bereits nach dem 1. Mal ein Unterschied beim Haarwachstum erkennbar - dies ist natürlich von Mensch zu Mensch unterschiedlich. 🙂 Alles in allem absolut zu empfehlen!!!

Important information on HIFU treatment

Before every HIFU treatment at GoAesthetic, you can have a personal consultation to discuss your individual goals and medical requirements. You can choose between two forms of consultation:

Specialist cosmetic consultation (= Ultherapy® consultation): Our specialist beauticians know the HIFU treatment in detail and will give you comprehensive advice on the procedure, effects and care. This consultation lasts around 30 minutes and costs €70 – 100% of this amount will be deducted from the cost of the HIFU treatment.
Medical Consultation with Dr. Herndlhofer: If you’d like more detailed information about treatment options or combination therapies (e.g., HIFU combined with filler or needling treatments), we recommend scheduling a consultation with one of our specialists. This consultation lasts about 30 minutes and costs €200. Of this amount, €50 will be credited toward any subsequent treatment.

If you decide to undergo HIFU treatment directly, everything important about the treatment will of course be discussed in advance – i.e. an additional appointment for a consultation is not absolutely necessary before treatment.

What do you need to consider during HIFU treatment?

Before treatment:

No treatment during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Acute skin diseases, inflammations, infections in the treatment area or some autoimmune diseases are also grounds for exclusion.
HIFU treatment must not be carried out if there is a pacemaker or mechanical implants in the treatment area (dental implants are OK).

After treatment:

Short-term redness or slight swelling may occur immediately after the treatment, but will pass quickly – apply a cooling bag if necessary.
Avoid sport, sauna, solarium and other facial treatments for 1 – 2 days.
Your skin can be cleansed and make-up removed as usual – but treat it particularly gently over the next few days.

Who is HIFU treatment suitable for?

HIFU treatment achieves the best results in people over 30 who are struggling with slightly to moderately sagging skin. Realistic expectations are important: You won’t suddenly look 10 years younger.

How much does a HIFU treatment cost in Vienna?

The prices for HIFU treatment in our practice in Vienna depend on the size of the area to be treated. Transparency is extremely important to us, which is why we also list all prices online on our homepage under Ultherapy®. However, we will also advise you in detail in an initial consultation. In general, you should expect costs from 440 euros depending on the facial region.

Is HIFU treatment painful?

The treatment generates targeted heat pulses in the deeper layers of the skin, which can also be felt for a short time. If you have sensitive skin or a low pain tolerance, you can take a painkiller that you tolerate well 30 minutes before the treatment. And if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

When do you see results after HIFU treatment?

You may notice the first slight tightening effect just a few days after the treatment. However, it takes a few months to build up new collagen, which is why the final result only appears after 2 – 4 months.

Can Botox and HIFU be performed at the same time?

Botox and HIFU can be combined, but should not be carried out on the same day – unless different areas of the face are being treated. This is because it makes sense to take a break of a few days to allow any skin reactions to subside. Even after a Botox treatment, a short interval of several days should be observed before a HIFU treatment in the same area. We will be happy to advise you personally at our institute on the optimal sequence.
