Make sure you remove your make-up before the skin analysis. You can also do this on site with us. This is because residues of make-up, powder and the like influence the result of the skin analysis, as possible impurities and pores are covered up. This is why a skin analysis with make-up always shows much better results than without.

The skin analysis provides you with a wealth of information about the quality and appearance of your skin in just a few seconds. It can even calculate your skin age. The following characteristics can be determined using our VISIA skin analysis:

  • Skin texture
  • Pigmentation and UV damage
  • Redness
  • Blackheads (characteristics)
  • Pores (number and whether they are colonized with blackheads)

You can also use artificial intelligence to age your face. This allows you to see where your next signs of ageing will appear and what you will look like in 10 or 20 years’ time. In addition, we can then better assess whether, for example, a fruit acid peel or another facial treatment is more suitable for you.

The skin analysis can theoretically be carried out several times a year – however, we recommend only once a year. Because too much analysis won’t get you anywhere. The aesthetic skin analysis is designed to sharpen your focus and reveal problem areas that you didn’t know about or hadn’t noticed before. However, if you have changed your skincare routine or have regularly undergone medical microneedling or hydrafacials, it is advisable to check the success of the changes or treatments by means of a skin analysis.

Different technologies are required to perfectly analyze skin characteristics. For example, a cross-polarized light with UV illumination is used to detect skin quality, UV damage and blackheads. In addition, the specially developed RBX® technology patented by Canfield detects certain skin discolorations such as pigment spots, inflammations and fine veins. And your own A.I. wrinkle algorithm predicts the changes in wrinkles as you age.
