Declaration on accessibility
We at GoAesthetic endeavor to make our website accessible in accordance with the Federal Act on Barrier-free Access to Websites and Mobile Applications of the Federal Government (Web Accessibility Act – WZG) Federal Law Gazette I. No. 59/2019 as amended, to make our website accessible.
This accessibility statement applies to www.goaesthetic.at.
Status of compatibility with the requirements
This website is not compliant with conformance level AA of the “Web Content Accessibility Guidelines – WCAG 2.1” or with the applicable European Standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1 (2021-03) according to Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council. The incompatibilities are listed below.
Non-accessible content
- Incompatibility with accessibility regulations: The website currently has the following barriers:
- Color contrasts are sometimes insufficient (e.g. light grey font on a white background).
- There is no visible focus when using the keyboard, which makes orientation difficult for users with assistive technologies.
- The online appointment booking is integrated via an externally embedded tool (iFrame). This can only be used to a limited extent using the keyboard and sometimes contains unclear labels and missing help texts.
- The website has not yet been tested with a screen reader and is not completely based on semantically correct HTML.
- There is no validation of the HTML/CSS according to W3C standards.
- Content outside the scope of application: In accordance with Section 2 (3) WZG, parts of our website do not fall within the scope of application of the barrier-free regulations. We are a microenterprise in the provision of services within the meaning of the exemption: Our company employs fewer than 10 employees and has either a maximum annual turnover of 2 million euros or a maximum annual balance sheet total of 2 million euros. Therefore, our website is not obliged to implement the full accessibility requirements in accordance with Section 2 para. 3 no. 1 WZG, even though we offer online services (e.g. appointment booking). Nevertheless, we endeavor to make our content as accessible as possible and to respond to feedback.
