    We will discuss your treatment goals and create a customized treatment plan to help you get the most out of your HIFU treatment.

  • Treatment

    Before starting, we cleanse your skin and mark the areas of the face to be treated. We then treat the face zone by zone with the ultrasound device.

  • Result

    In some cases, an immediately visible effect can result from the immediate tissue contraction after the treatment. However, the actual tightening effect develops gradually over several weeks to months, as the formation and reorganization of collagen fibres takes time.

Important information on HIFU treatment

Before every HIFU treatment at GoAesthetic, you can have a personal consultation to discuss your individual goals and medical requirements. You can choose between two forms of consultation:

  • Specialist cosmetic consultation (= Ultherapy® consultation): Our specialist beauticians know the HIFU treatment in detail and will give you comprehensive advice on the procedure, effects and care. This consultation lasts around 30 minutes and costs €70 – 100% of this amount will be deducted from the cost of the HIFU treatment.
  • Medical consultation: If you would like to find out more about treatment options or combination concepts (e.g. HIFU in conjunction with filler or needling treatments), we recommend a consultation with one of our specialists. This consultation lasts around 30 minutes and costs €140. Of this, €50 will be credited towards any subsequent treatment.

If you decide to undergo HIFU treatment directly, everything important about the treatment will of course be discussed in advance – i.e. an additional appointment for a consultation is not absolutely necessary before treatment.

What do you need to consider during HIFU treatment?

Before treatment:

  • No treatment during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

  • Acute skin diseases, inflammations, infections in the treatment area or some autoimmune diseases are also grounds for exclusion.

  • HIFU treatment must not be carried out if there is a pacemaker or mechanical implants in the treatment area (dental implants are OK).

After treatment:

  • Short-term redness or slight swelling may occur immediately after the treatment, but will pass quickly – apply a cooling bag if necessary.

  • Avoid sport, sauna, solarium and other facial treatments for 1 – 2 days.

  • Your skin can be cleansed and make-up removed as usual – but treat it particularly gently over the next few days.

HIFU treatment achieves the best results in people over 30 who are struggling with slightly to moderately sagging skin. Realistic expectations are important: You won’t suddenly look 10 years younger.

The prices for HIFU treatment in our practice in Vienna depend on the size of the area to be treated. Transparency is extremely important to us, which is why we also list all prices online on our homepage under Ultherapy®. However, we will also advise you in detail in an initial consultation. In general, you should expect costs from 440 euros depending on the facial region.

The treatment generates targeted heat pulses in the deeper layers of the skin, which can also be felt for a short time. If you have sensitive skin or a low pain tolerance, you can take a painkiller that you tolerate well 30 minutes before the treatment. And if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

You may notice the first slight tightening effect just a few days after the treatment. However, it takes a few months to build up new collagen, which is why the final result only appears after 2 – 4 months.

Botox and HIFU can be combined, but should not be carried out on the same day – unless different areas of the face are being treated. This is because it makes sense to take a break of a few days to allow any skin reactions to subside. Even after a Botox treatment, a short interval of several days should be observed before a HIFU treatment in the same area. We will be happy to advise you personally at our institute on the optimal sequence.
